This Town Needs Guns

Oxford in the UK probably doesn’t have that many guns in it so I guess it adds up that the math band This Town Needs Guns come from there.

Sydney Morning Herald reviewed their debut album “Animals” as “Intricate pop guitar work, with a touch of jazz and Spanish influences” adding “Better than a trip to the zoo.” According to their blog as of mid October they have been recording for their second album offering to be expected soon.

This isn’t the first time they have headed over this side of the globe. They were here for the first time in February this year and must have liked it as they’ll be arriving on our shores in November to play their intricate experimental guitar work at Harvest music and arts festival. Which brings me to the whole reason for this update – they have announced sideshows!!
