Girls cover Whitney Houston

During the Singapore leg of their tour with Laneway Festival, Girls covered one of the greatest love songs of all time, Dolly Parton's 'I will Always Love You', which Whitney Houston made into a huge hit. Sadly, the tribute was not to honour Saint Valentine but an homage to the icon herself, who passed away this week in the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The band's singer, Christopher Owens, was clearly a Whitney fan because towards the end of this fan-made video he gets really emotional and looks as if he is choking back the tears. So sad! But on the bright side, Whitney did leave behind a legacy and it is full of emotional love songs to get you through Valentine's Day.
