Frank Ocean pulls out of Future

With his debut solo album incomplete, the singer delays his Australian tour.

Frank Ocean's live show is renowned. The eccentric Odd Future musician is apparently so particular about ensuring that his performances have that wow-factor that he has had to pull out of Future Music Festival this year. The singer-songwriter's decision not to tour with Future this March is reportedly due to delays in completing his debut solo album. It seems that Ocean feels very strongly about being able to finish the album before touring, so that he can give his fans what they really expect from him on-stage.

A statement released by the festival said:

"Future Entertainment are sad to announce that, due to the delay of his debut album, Frank Ocean will no longer feature on the Future Music Festival bill this March."

According to the Future, though, Ocean will still carry out an Australian tour this year, once his album is completed, and they look forward to announcing these dates soon. Although the news about Ocean pulling out of the festival certainly comes as a disappointment, with such a great line-up this year, fans and festival-goers can still expect an incredible Future experience.
