Bluesfest have announced a third lot of local and international acts to complement their already huge line-up. Featuring a veritable range of musical styles across the board, next year's festival at Tyagarah Tea Tree farm in Byron Bay will have a bit of something for everyone. Ranging from reggae to ska-punk, American soul to dub, hip hop, folk, roots and alt-country, Bluesfest's 23rd anniversary offers a smorgasbord of musical talent.
The festival's third line-up features LA folk rockers Dawes (pictured), California's finest ska band, Sublime with Rome, and Zappa tribute outfit featuring Dweezil Zappa, Zappa Plays Zappa, as well as Josh Pyke, James Vincent McMorrow, Blue King Brown, Busby Marou, Eileen Jewell, 1814, and Melbourne Ska Orchestra.
The Bluesfest playing schedule is also now live and it was recently announced that Australian pub rock classics, Cold Chisel will be headlining the festival for the first time. Bluesfest will take place next year between Thursday 5 and Monday 9 April. For full line-up details, visit The Festivalist's Guide to Bluesfest.
